... Escargots and Tarte Tatin were the order of the day for our Cockle Bay children, hungry members in Wellington enjoyed an elegant afternoon tea complete with some very beautifully made biscuits

...and our lucky Spanish for children club members in Melbourne got to start the day off with a breakfast of churros (donuts), galettas (cookies)and Chocolate!.

Try our simple recipe for Escargots with garlic butter!
Recette d’escargot au beurre d’ail
Ingrédients
1 boîte d’escargot
50 gr de beurre
2 gr d’échalote haché très fin
(haché très fin – finely chopped)
5 gr de persil haché très fin
2 gr d’ail haché très fin
Sel
Poivre
Méthode
Préchauffer (preheat) le four (oven) à 220C
Mélanger (mix) le beurre, les échalotes, le persil et l’ail ensemble (together).
Égoutter (drain) et placer (place) les escargots dans les coquilles.
Mettre (put) le beurre par-dessus (on top).
Mettre au four et faire frémir le beurre quelques instants. Put in oven and allow butter to bubble a couple of seconds.
