Jim has recently joined LCF Fun Languages.

He is an experienced primary school teacher and very excited about passing on his French skills to young Australians in Melbourne.

Nathalie is delighted to be offering French and Italian lessons to young Australians in the Lower North Shore and Northern Beaches area.

Nathalie is a native French speaker and has been teaching in Australia for 8 years. Nathalie comes from Belgium where she studied speech pathology and is also a qualified teacher for children, teenagers and adults. Nathalie has worked in Australian schools and taught at all levels at the Alliance francaise.

My name is Simmy Cesamolo, and I would like to introduce myself, as the Club Manager for LCF Clubs in the Hills area.

My husband and I are Italian, and we have 2 children.  I am passionate about children learning another language as I strongly believe that language is the bridge between cultures.  My qualifications include a Bachelor of Primary Education, with an Honours in Special Needs.

I will be offering Italian and Spanish to pre-school & primary school students (from 4 to 12 year olds).

Mindy has recently joined LCF Fun Languages and is thrilled to be offering various clubs throughout Sydney's North Shore.

Our teachers are LCF-trained, passionate and experienced. In many cases they are teaching in their native tongue .Having 4 children at home, she understands the need for extra curricular activities to be fun and interesting for the children. This is how we do it at LCF Fun Languages. As such, their learning ability and outcomes are significantly enhanced when this methodology is applied .

Elizabeth is an experienced primary school teacher with an international background. Elizabeth has enjoyed a teaching career with a variety of teaching roles including learning support, EFL, main stream and specialist classes in French and other languages for students of all ages. Eastern Suburbs is pleased to be offered a range of language learning opportunities in the following languages: French, German, Italian, Mandarin, and Spanish as well as JAZZMATAZZ our new and exciting music programme for pre-schoolers. I have been in Australia for 2.5 years now. To learn English was my first intention. In order to reach my goal I gained experience as a Nanny in various families. This allowed me to discover the Australian culture whilst working with children.

I have also been teaching French for the past 2 years while acting as Center Manager. This has led me to commence a degree in Teaching which should be completed in September 2010. Working with children is a lot of fun and so rewarding! Learning English myself also helps me to understand the challenges involved for my students.

In France I have studied psychology, giving me a masters degree in Criminology  (Catholic University of Louvain la Neuve). I had the opportunity to work as a psychologist and criminologist during placements in prison and hospital (palliative care service).

I am now delighted to be offering French Clubs for children and adults in and around the western suburbs of Sydney.

I am taking expressions of interest to start up new preschool classes for Italian, French and Spanish. Also taking expressions of interest for school aged children as well.

At this stage most classes are in the Rowville area, however, please register your interest as clubs will be set up in any area if there is a demand for a particular language.

Shu Ge is delighted to be offering Mandarin clubs to Pre-school and Primary children in South-east Suburbs.

Shu Ge is a qualified Kindergarten teacher in China. She has been continuously teaching Mandarin since she has arrived in Melbourne 10 years ago. She has worked with students in various ages from 5 to 17 year old in Chinese Weekend Schools and Caulfield Grammar School. She also had experience in hosting children's programs in Mandarin at SBS radio station and 3CW Chinese radio station (AM1341) for periods of time.

As a migrant and a mother of 4 year old son, Shu Ge is enjoying multicultural dynamics in Melbourne. She would love to pass on her passion for Mandarin language and Chinese culture to other children.

Carolyn is delighted to be offering French clubs for children.
She is working in and around Brighton East in Melbourne.

Carolyn lived and studied French in Brussels, Belgium, some
years ago. She now has three children of her own and is
enjoying passing on her passion for languages to them and
other children.

Julia Higgs has a BA Hons in International Business and Languages, studying French, Spanish and German. She is also TEFL qualified and has taught English at primary schools in India as well as lecturing in business and marketing at University. She has further developed her language skills by working in Paris and Costa Rica. She has also spent 10 years working in International trade in New York, London and Sydney. She has a passion for languages, teaching and learning about other cultures. And as a mother of two young boys she also knows that learning has to be fun !

Julia Higgs runs Fun French, Spanish, German, Mandarin and Italian Clubs in the Manly Warringah area .

Marina is a trained Mandarin teacher for children. She loves teaching Mandarin and Chinese culture. Through our professionally designed course, involving songs, drama, crafts and lots of lively games, most children enjoy learning Mandarin regardless of their language background.

Many researches have proven that learning a second language will gain many benefits for a child's development. But why do we learn Mandarin?

A recent study by the economist Angus Maddison projects that China will become the world's dominant economic power much sooner than expected(Fortune Magazine 30 April 2008). According to Austrade, China is Australia's third largest trading partner and has recently become the second largest merchandise export market. Knowing the language and culture will help us in dealing with China. It is a good investment to lay a foundation for our kids' future.

Marina is an IT professional, originally from Taiwan, who migrated to Australia from Hong Kong in 1998. She is a native Mandarin speaker and has a Beijing accent. She can also speak other Chinese dialects, such as Cantonese and Shanghainese. For a period of time, she had been a Mandarin teacher at the Hong Kong Chinese University and a couple of Australia language schools.

In an English speaking environment, it is always difficult to keep the kids interested in the native language of their parents.
Marina has also experienced the same challenge with her 7 year old daughter. The methodology that our club uses will inspire not only her daughter, but also kids from English or non English speaking families.

Marina will be offering Fun Language Clubs for Children in Lower North Shore and Upper North Shore.

Learning another language has many benefits. It complements literacy skills,enhances self esteem and encourages achievement. That is what our French  Clubs are all about! Learning while having fun!

Rachel is delighted to be offering French sessions for Pre-school and Primary children in the North-eastern suburbs of Melbourne!

Rachel has a Combined Honours Degree in French and Manufacturing Management and a Masters Degree from a leading French University in European Business. She has worked in teaching and in industry in France for a number of years and is passionate about the French language and culture.
She has also studied Spanish, Italian, German and Arabic.

Her three year old son is already learning songs and rhymes in French, so she has firsthand experience of the enjoyment children can have from learning a second language!

Nickie is Managing Director of LCF Fun Languages. She originally started as a LCF Club Franchisee in New Zealand before moving to Australia.

Irina is delighted to be offering Spanish clubs to children in Melbourne.

 

Evangelina is a Spanish native speaker who loves languages.
She has been able to put her skills into practice while working on website translations for several years.
She has also taught English in her native country, Argentina, and is very passionate about children being given the opportunity to learn a second language.

Evangelina is organising the first Spanish Fun Languages Clubs for pre-schoolers and primary school kids in Gold Coast and Southern Brisbane areas.
She is also taking interest for French and Mandarin LCF Clubs.

Hi, I’m Kati – half Italian, half German and adopted Aussie for the past 10 years now. Fluent in 4 languages, with an Italian doctorate in English, I specialise in adult teaching but love the interaction and the energy that comes with teaching children.

Tom and Erin are thrilled to be offering Fun Language Clubs for children in Brisbane's Northern Suburbs!

Erin (郭爽 guoshuang) has come from Nanjing, China and has completed her Master of Education here in Brisbane. She comes from a family of teachers and loves passing on her mother tongue, Mandarin, to people of all ages, especially kids! Tom holds a TESOL qualification and is working on a Music degree. He has spent time teaching English to young people in China, and often helps teach music to the young children in his choir.
