Bonjour!
My name is Alex and I am a native French speaker that comes from the lovely country of France. As an Alliance Francaise certified teacher, I have been teaching French for more than 16 years in Europe and in Australia where I finally decided to settle with my family in 2012. I have been teaching adults, students and children in very different ways, private , group, face to face over the phone and online.
As a mother and teacher, I am very committed to teaching French to kids and I believe that early exposure to a second language will give children a great asset for their future.
I love sharing the knowledge of language and culture through playful activities like role plays, stories, games and songs. That’s why I found a passion for LCF Fun Languages and its methodology. What better way to learn a language while having fun!
Being the Area Manager for the NSW Central Coast and Northern Beaches, I organise French, Spanish, Mandarin, German and Italian classes. Come and join the fun with my team of passionate teachers! -

My background is in English teaching, a passion of mine that has taken me around the world. I have had the chance to live and teach in England, The Netherlands, China, Ireland and NZ. Language to me is crucially important, it is intrinsic to who we are and how we understand our world. I haven’t had the opportunity to learn another language even though I’ve lived in countries where I was, in terms of language, an outsider. Most embarrassingly, those I met and taught all had at least one other language!
I have often felt the pull to learn another language, and find my frustration is not something I want to share with my children, who are half French… and I feel I’m not alone in this!
LCF Fun Languages is the ideal solution, it’s fun, motivating and a fantastic opportunity. I hope to meet many like-minded parents on this journey, and build small language communities together!

Bonjour, my name is Laurence. I was born in Brittany, grew up in Aix-en-Provence, and then moved to Lyon, the capital of French gastronomy, where I raised my 3 beautiful children. My family loves to travel so naturally when my husband was offered a job overseas we said YES! After spending 4 years in the Middle East where I worked in a large French school with students from 3 to 18 years old, we moved to Australia and we love it here. I started to teach conversational French to adults in Brisbane but I had to quit as we moved to Newcastle, NSW, a very welcoming place and with beautiful beaches! Now we’re moving back to Brisbane and are ready to settle here. My daughter started UQ and we love all the beautiful attractions of South Queensland.
I’m very much looking forward to sharing my passion for the French language and culture with Fun Languages FUN but effective language programs, using activities and games adapted to different ages. ALL children are ready to learn another language and the earlier it is introduced, the easier children will integrate the sounds, pronunciation and vocabulary. Let them surprise you!

Ciao! Bonjour!
I am Eloisa, the club manager for LCF Fun Languages in the Canberra and Queanbeyan area.
I was born in Italy but grew up in many different countries where I was exposed to different
languages and cultures. In these countries, I attended French schools and became fluent in my
second language of French. My friends were from all over the world and being fluent in three or more languages was quite
normal for most of my school friends. From this early exposure to languages, I have grown to love the
learning journey that comes from early exposure to new languages and look forward to giving this
opportunity to young children in the Canberra and Queanbeyan region.
After moving permanently to Australia where I met my husband and completing a degree in
Advertising and Marketing, I traveled extensively and raised my two children.
I started working with LCF five years ago. I especially enjoy watching the children eagerly come to
class, gain confidence and self-esteem from their progress and have fun while learning a new
language.I am currently offering French, Italian and Mandarin classes, and hope to start Spanish soon.
Please contact me to give your child a wonderful opportunity to learn a new language, a gift to last
a lifetime! -
