Funny French Phrases For Brisbane & Gold Coast
French is about to get really fun (and really funny!) in Brisbane with the restarting of our popular LCF Fun French programs for ages 2 and upwards in Brisbane and the Gold Coast.Thousands of children across Australia already learn languages through our FUN programs and we are very excited to be restarting in Queensland.
Just for starters, have a go at this tongue-twister:
“Si mon tonton tond ton tonton, ton tonton sera tondu.” translates to “If my uncle shaves your uncle, your uncle will be shaved”

"Allons Enfants De La Patrie ..." - FREE Bastille Day Activity Sheet!
On Thursday 14th July 2016, Francophiles the world over will be celebrating Bastille Day!
The French National holiday, or La Fête Nationale, has been celebrated for over a century and, contrary to popular belief, doesn’t actually celebrate the storming of the Bastille.
Instead, it commemorates the Fête de la Fédération, which was a celebration to mark the first anniversary of the storming of the Bastille in 1789, and which was a salute to the new constitutional monarchy, the birth of the French Republic and the general notion of liberty in France.
